LUA is the new, versatile complete bathroom suite collection from LAUFEN for commercial and residential properties. The range offers outstanding adaptability, functionality and timeless design.
With LUA, LAUFEN has developed a bathroom range for commercial and residential properties, which is both aesthetic and functional. The range has been designed by Toan Nguyen. Reflecting the designer’s understanding of contemporary design, the collection also meets the highest production standards based on Nguyen’s long-standing relationship with the Swiss bathroom experts. User friendly and well-conceived, the design language of LUA has been reduced to the essentials with a focus on rectangular and oval forms.
Straight lines and gently rounded corners and edges form the perfect symbiosis with the oval washbasins, bowls, WCs, bidets and bathtubs. With its balanced, timeless design, LUA coordinates with almost any popular interior design style and is ideal for a starter bathroom, family bathroom or bathroom renovation. This is further enhanced by the distinctive combination of the ceramics with the faucets, furniture and bathtub.
Extensive washbasin selection
LUA offers many useful features to make life easier. The washbasins, for example, are generously sized with plenty of surface space. Central to the collection are the rectangular designs in popular sizes, from small to double washbasins.
They can be wall hung or used as countertop washbasins thanks to their polished underside. LAUFEN demonstrates its attention to functional detail with pre-prepared holes in the washbasin for attaching a towel rail, avoiding the need to drill into the wall tiles. An oval washbasin bowl is also available for washbasins with concealed faucets and brackets.
Pre-assembled washbasin and vanity unit combination
A pre-assembled slim pack consisting of washbasin and vanity furniture is also available in three sizes. The washbasin protrudes slightly beyond the body of the furniture, preventing water from dripping down onto the furniture. A number of details, such as the glazed washbasin underside for example, are a further indication of the quality of this combined solution. The vanity unit also has two handle-less drawers that are flush with the extremely thin-walled furniture body, which offers a high-quality aesthetic.
Rimless WCs and matching bidet
LUA WCs offer considerable added value. All are rimless and feature an ergonomically rounded seat area as well as an elegant, slimline seat and lid, optionally with or without soft-close. To complete the look, the WCs and matching bidet are all available in the same colours as the washbasins.
Elegant bathtubs for exceptional comfort
Bathtubs are also available with the LUA bathroom suite. You can choose between a free-standing and wall-mounted bathtub. Both are made of the cast mineral Marbond and, with a length of 1,700 mm and extremely thin walls, take up minimal space in the bathroom. Note that the LUA tubs have specially contoured backrest slopes at both ends and a central outlet. Showering is also straightforward thanks to the large, level shower tray and non-slip design.
Quality faucets
To ensure a harmonious bathroom design, a range of matching faucets is also available. The faucets for washbasins, bidets, bathtubs and showers are both minimalist in design and provide full functionality. Special attention has been paid to the narrow lever design, which echoes the universal design language of the washbasins and has a rounded underside for pleasant handling. All washbasin mixers are equipped with the Eco+ function, which runs cold water in the most commonly used central home position, saving hot water and therefore energy.
Benchmark-setting furniture range
The new LANI furniture range completes the homogeneous look in the LUA bathroom. With durable workmanship and ingenious design writ large at LAUFEN, the range sets the benchmark in the bathroom furniture sector with its slimline side panels and doors with integrated recessed handles and lacquered surfaces. There is a wide range of colours to choose from. While the furniture interior is finished in an elegant anthracite, the options for the exterior include classic white and grey as well as 40 other options plus wild oak wood effect, all of which emphasise the high-quality appearance.
